Three MLS players were called up by the Mexican national team on Tuesday for their upcoming friendly against Bosnia and Herzegovina on Jan. 31 at the Alamodome in San Antonio.
LA Galaxy midfielders Giovani and Jonathan dos Santos and LAFC forward Carlos Vela were all called to the squad, which will be playing their first match of 2018. Mexico will spend the first half of this year preparing for this summerās 2018 World Cup in Russia.
The dos Santos brothers and Vela will depart their respective MLS preseason camps for Mexico duty in the coming days. Theyāll return to their LA-based clubs to continue training following the friendly.
