TRANSFER TRACKER STATUS:Report
The New York Red Bulls have signed Venezuelan midfielder Cristian Casseres, according to a report out of his home country.
Meridiano.com reported on Saturday that the 18-year-old midfielder arrived in New York on Friday and will be presented as a Red Bulls player in the coming days. This follows reports out of Venezuela earlier in January claiming Casseres was set to move to New YOrk.
Casseres appeared in 13 matches for Venezuelan team Deportivo La Guaira last year and appeared in seven matches for the Venezuela Under-17 national team and was called to a pre-World Cup training camp for the U-20 team.
