American youth international midfielder Emerson Hyndman is interested in a move from English Premier League side Bournemouth to an MLS club, according to Metro US's Kristian Dyer.
While reports out of Scotland suggest Hyndman could end up making a return Rangers or a move to Celtic this January, an MLS move might also make sense for the 21-year-old grandson of Schellas Hyndman, the former FC Dallas manager.
Hyndman scored four league goals on loan with Rangers from Bournemouth last season, but still has yet to see Premier League action since returning to the South of England. He has made three appearances (one start) across two cup competitions.
Internationally, Hyndman played in five matches for the Yanks at the 2015 FIFA U-17 world cup, scoring twice, and was also a regular contributor to the Americans' unsuccessful qualifying campaign the following year.
