TRANSFER TRACKER STATUS:Report
Norway international defender Jorgen Skjelvik has reportedly signed a contract with the LA Galaxy that will make him one of Major League Soccer's highest-paid defenders, according to Norwegian newspaper Adressa.
The 26-year-old Skjelvik made three starts for Norway during their World Cup qualification campaign, and has been a regular fixture for Norwegian giants Rosenborg BK for the last three seasons.
He would join a Galaxy squad that will be attempting to rebound from one of the club's worst seasons in 2017, as well as the mid-season departure of Belgian defender Jelle Van Damme.
The Galaxy have made no official announcement regarding Skjelvik, though Skjelvik's comments to Adressa suggest the move is a done deal.
