The 2016 #MLSSoshies winners have been announced, with Colorado Rapids attacker Shkelzen Gashi taking home the title of Most Social MLS Player.
Three Seattle Sounders were honored, with Jordan Morris and Cristian Roldan taking home the BFFs category and goalkeeper Stefan Frei earning some well-deserved shine in the MLS Pets category for his fantastic #WrinkleWednesday posts.
Portland Timbers midfielder Darlington Nagbe won the Family Matters category, while the LA Galaxy’s Sebastian Lletget rounded out the field by taking the Bigger Picture title.
Most Social MLS Player – Shkelzen Gashi
Gashi emerged from a 16-man bracket to claim the 2016 title of MLS’ Most Social Player. The Rapids’ Albanian Designated Player cruised through the field, topping Dax McCarty, Sebastian Giovinco and David Villa before beating Justin Meram in the final. All of the matchups were decided by a fan vote.
