Well, not quite – ETR will keep your holidays humming with two more episodes on Dec. 22 and 29 – but it’s the last time the guys sit down to talk soccer in the flesh before heading their separate ways. First up, Andrew, David and Calen reflect on 2016 then get down to the business at hand: drafts, signings, rumors and player movement in general. Who’s up for grabs in Re-Entry Stage 2? Why is Dave so giddy about Honduran international Alberth Elis? What’s up with Oscar Romero to Atlanta? Could Batman make a return to Minnesota? Is FC Dallas killing it or are they killing it?
In the second segment, the guys look ahead to 2017, starting with the CONCACAF Champions League, which is clear as mud. Then they tackle the US national team under Bruce Arena. What’s January camp going to look like? What’s the overall theme of the program? Who’ll get a shot that needs one and who’ll be the player who makes fans scratch their heads? MLS predictions?
