The Independent Review Panel has rescinded the fine and one-game suspension for the red card issued to Columbus Crew SC defender Harrison Afful for serious foul play in the 74th minute of their match against D.C. United on July 16.
Afful was carded for his challenge on United midfielder Marcelo Sarvas. The appeal was unanimously upheld, and Afful will be eligible to play in Saturday's match with Orlando at MAPFRE Stadium (7:30pm ET; MLS LIVE).
