LA Galaxy forward Robbie Keane has undergone orthoscopic surgery on his right knee and is expected to be out 4-6 weeks, according to an article from the club.
Keane broke the news of the procedure on his Instagram account on Thursday, as he displayed a bandaged right leg and wrote, "Operation done speedy recovery hopefully back soon stronger."
Keane, 35, has two goals in three league games this season for the Galaxy. Although he's been healthy for most of his time in MLS since joining LA during the 2011 season, Keane did sit out seven straight games early last season due to a leg injury.
