Landon Donovan won many titles throughout his career, and now he can add another: Dad.
The US soccer legend announced on social media Wednesday that he and his wife, Hannah Bartell, have welcomed their first child into the world, Talon Bartell Donovan.
Donovan is widely considered the greatest player in US soccer history, having scores 57 goals and 57 assists in 157 caps. In his storied 14-year MLS career, he set records for goals (169) and assists (150) in 379 matches, and saw the MLS MVP award named in his honor.
Since retiring from soccer in October 2014, Donovan has stayed active in soccer through charity work as a coach for HELM Soccer. He has also returned to the pitch to play in charity matches.
