FC Dallas technical director Fernando Clavijo announced some great news on Thursday, revealing that his cancer is in full remission.
Clavijo, who will turn 60 on Saturday, was diagnosed in February 2014 with multiple myeloma, a form of cancer that starts in the plasma cells of bone marrow. The former US international and Colorado Rapids and New England Revolution head coach continued working for FCD during his treatment.
He announced the happy news on Facebook on Thursday morning:
