Here's how to draft your DraftKings lineup for the first leg of the Conference Championships

Jesse Gonzalez - FC Dallas - Close up

The Audi 2015 MLS Cup Playoffs start back up this Sunday, and it’s time go back to the drawing board on DraftKings. The smaller player pool is sure to make things interesting in Sunday’s DraftKings contests - where you can play for FREE or turn a $3 entry into a hundred bucks!

Pick your MLS Conference Championship lineup on DraftKings

Now, let’s look at some top targets at each position that will hopefully take your team to the top of the leaderboards:

Goalkeepers

Budget Pick: Goalkeeper pricing is tight this week, with just $400 separating the highest priced option, Steve Clark ($4,200), and the cheapest option, Jesse Gonzalez ($3,800). Take the savings with Gonzalez facing a weakened Timbers attack.

Defenders

Obvious Picks:Harrison Afful ($4,400) and Crew SC teammate Waylon Francis ($3,800) are both high on my radar after combining for 16 crosses, 11 interceptions and 38.5 points last time out.

Sleeper Pick: If Portland take a defensive approach to Sunday’s tilt with FC Dallas, Jack Jewsbury ($3,000) could play a role. Keep an eye out for the starting lineup before deploying the MLS vet.

Midfielders

Obvious Pick:Mauro Diaz ($7,300) sent in a whopping 15 crosses two weeks ago in seeing FC Dallas through to the Western Conference Championship. With Diego Valeri out on yellow-card accumulation, Diaz is the midfielder to pay up for on Sunday.

Sleeper Pick: Ryan Hollingshead ($2,900) has reaped the rewards of the new DraftKings scoring format. He had 7 tackles, 12 interceptions and 17 DraftKings points against Seattle. At just $2,900 Hollingshead will free up valuable salary cap space.

Obvious Pick:Kei Kamara ($8,400) broke out of a month-long goal drought with a pair of goals in his last outing. Kamara should have several opportunities to add to his impressive 2015 goal haul with Crew SC on the frontfoot at home in the series opener.

Budget Pick:Michael Barrios ($5,300) hasn’t registered a goal or an assist since mid-October but continues to rack up fantasy points elsewhere. He had 6 shots (2 on goal), 6 crosses and 17 points in the second leg of the Western Conference Semifinals.
