It remains to be seen which team will come in with the upper hand when the New York Red Bulls and Columbus Crew SC clash in the second leg of the Eastern Conference Championship on Nov. 29. But there’s one thing we already know for sure: It will be a packed house.
The Red Bulls announced Thursday that Red Bull Arena is sold out for the game at their capacity of 25,219, marking the third consecutive playoff sellout at the Harrison, New Jersey, stadium. It is the fourth sellout this season at Red Bull Arena.
After advancing to their second consecutive conference championship appearance by knocking out D.C. United in the conference semifinals of the Audi 2015 MLS Cup Playoffs, the Red Bulls travel to Columbus for the first leg this Sunday at MAPFRE Stadium (5 pm ET, ESPN, WatchESPN, ESPN Deportes in US, TSN Go, MLS LIVE in Canada).
