The Bayern Munich midfielder made leading comments to German soccer magazine Kicker, saying he’d consider playing in the United States or China after his contract expires at Allianz Arena at the end of this season. It was reported about this time two years ago that Alonso would go to either the LA Galaxy or New York Red Bulls after his contract at Real Madrid expired at the end of 2014.
That – obviously – never transpired, yet MLS remains clearly within his sights. Remaining in Munich is also still an option, he said.
"If the club's happy with me, I could very well imagine staying here for a bit longer,” Alonso told Kicker.
