MLS INSIDER, presented by adidas: “Dom & Syd"
They've known each other for only slightly more than a year, but they are already American soccer's power couple.
Sporting Kansas City forward Dom Dwyer and US women's national team forward Sydney Leroux got married in a private ceremony in January, less than a year after they met. Similar players on the field, the passionate duo support one other off of it, even though they are rarely in the same city at once.
In the latest edition of MLS Insider, presented by adidas, Dwyer and Leroux let cameras tag along as they spent time together, first for a May 20 Sporting Kansas City game and then for a May 30 US national team game. Along the way, hear from Dwyer's parents, find out how the couple are different, and learn what they admire about each other's skills.
