Camilo cinched the 2013 Budweiser Golden Boot award with six goals and one assist in a torrid display over the final month of the regular season, so it's no great surprise that the Vancouver Whitecaps sparkplug has also earned the Player of the Month honors.
It's the second POTM gong for the skilful Brazilian, who finished the season with 22 goals and six assists.
He wrapped up the year in sensational fashion on Sunday, burning the Colorado Rapids for a hat trick that pushed him ahead of Mike Magee and Marco Di Vaio in the scoring race and also netted him MLS Player of the Week honors, an award he won a league-leading four times this season.
Camilo edged out New York Red Bulls Designated Player Tim Cahill in the October POTM voting, while Portland Timbers goalkeeper Donovan Ricketts also received votes. (See how the North American Soccer Reporters voted here.)
