It's rare that a player dictates the action with his chest. Rare, but not impossible.
Hence it was possible for Real Salt Lake's Chris Wingert to goal-line block with his chest in RSL's 4-2 loss to the LA Galaxy last weekend, a block that was voted the Save of the Week for Week 25 by fans.
Wingert's win was by a landslide: He got more than 61% of the vote.
He is also the 2nd RSL defender to win the award this year and the 4th RSL player overall. Nat Borchers won in Week 4, goalkeeper Nick Rimando has won it six times, and number 2 goalkeeper Jeff Attinella won it in Week 20.
