The MLS saves leader has another one for the highlight reel.
Real Salt Lake veteran netminder Nick Rimando claimed the Week 12 Save of the Week award with another stunning stop against Chivas USA. Over half of the fans who voted selected his kick save on a blistering shot from Goats forward Jose Erick Correa as the best of the lot.
It's Rimando's second Save of the Week honor of 2013 (Week 7) and the third for Real Salt Lake, who also had defender Nat Borchers emerge as a winner in Week 4.
But Rimando still has a ways to go to catch up to Portland's Donovan Ricketts, who has amassed five of the 12 weekly save awards handed out.
