Fans know a rare goal when they see one.
Michel's "olimpico" goal for FC Dallas off a corner kick handily won the Week 12 AT&T Goal of the Week honors with nearly 50 percent of the vote.
It's the first time an FC Dallas player has won AT&T Goal of the Week honors since Brek Shea claimed the award in Week 7 back in 2011.
Two other set-piece goals made a push -- dead-ball strikes by Marvin Chavez (San Jose) and Camilo Sanvezzo (Vancouver) -- but finished well short of Michel's final vote total.
Final Votes - Week 12 (online poll and text vote):
1. Michel (DAL): 49.34%

3. Camilo Sanvezzo (VAN): 13.80%
4. Gershon Koffie (VAN): 7.36%
5. Dominic Oduro (CLB): 7.32%
