With just one week remaining for fans to vote online and by text messaging for the All-Star Game First XI, Landon Donovan, David Beckham, Rafa Márquez and Kasey Keller all continue to lead at their respective positions, having received the most combined votes.
And though there's been no change among the top candidates, there's been some movement throughout the fan ballot as fans jostle to elect their favorite players to the All-Star team that's scheduled to play EPL champions Manchester United on July 27 at Red Bull Arena.
Most notably—and perhaps surprisingly—Sporting KC's Matt Besler now leads the text vote, having climbed all the way to the top from sixth place just a week ago. The defender replaced Justin Mapp as the top vote-getter overall via text messaging.
Don't forget, online and text voting concludes July 5 at 11:59 p.m. ET, so now's the time to start stuffing that ballot! VOTE HERE.
