Philadelphia Union 'keeper Brad Knighton has won NAPA Save of the Week for Matchday 28, thanks to his save on LA Galaxy captain Landon Donovan. It is Knighton's first Save of the Week honor this year.
A long ball off a header by Galaxy defender Omar Gonzalez played Donovan in behind the Union back line in the 78th minute, resulting in a one-on-one with Knighton. But the Philly 'keeper was equal to the task of stopping last year's MVP, and Knighton came to the edge of his area to get his right hand to the low shot. The save kept the Galaxy from doubling their 1-0 lead, though the Union would eventually fall by that score line despite Knighton's heroics.

Knighton took home the award with 36 percent of the vote. Chicago Fire defender Bratislav Ristic's goal line clearance against the Columbus Crew came in second with 29 percent.
