New York Red Bulls 'keeper Bouna Coundoul has won his first NAPA Save of the Week award for his double-save against the Kansas City Wizards. Coundoul had to come out to the edge of the area to deny Josh Wolff an opportunity, but had to recover quickly to grab the ball from the feet of an oncoming Teal Bunbury. Coundoul's double save garnered just over 50 percent of the vote, giving him a comfortable lead over Will Hesmer's 22 percent for a diving save off a header.
Matt Pickens of the Colorado Rapids, Donovan Ricketts of the LA Galaxy and D.C. United's Troy Perkins were also nominated.
