Just as it did in the game, Danny Mwanga's late equalizer pulled it out in the end, as the Philadelphia Union rookie's opportunistic strike won the AT&T Goal of the Week for Week 8.
A late push from Union fans seemed to make the difference, as Mwanga earned 39% of the vote, edging Seattle Sounders striker Fredy Montero, who garnered 35%. FC Dallas attacker Brek Shea picked up 13%, followed by Chicago's Julio Martinez (10%) and Kansas City's Kei Kamara (2%).
Mwanga's goal came in the 93rd minute, when the teenaged striker pounced on a loose ball in the Dallas area and volleyed it home to earn the Union a 1-1 tie at home.
