The Houston Dynamo have waived midfielder Kevin Harmse, the team announced today.

Harmse was acquired from Chivas USA in January for a conditional draft pick but never participated in training sessions due to injury.

The Dynamo are next in action with a preseason scrimmage on Thursday, March 11, against the Chicago Fire at 7 p.m. at the Carl Lewis Track & Field Complex.

The Dynamo’s home opener is set for Thursday, April 1, at 8 p.m. against defending MLS Cup champion Real Salt Lake.
