Wakaso Mubarak is a speedy wide midfielder who can play on the left or right sides. He made his senior international debut with the Black Stars in 2012.

GHANAIAN NATIONAL TEAM

Mubarak scored four goals for the Black Stars during the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations. He made five appearances during World Cup qualifying, scoring a goal against Sudan.

CLUB CAREER

After leaving Ghana, Mubarak spent three seasons in the Spanish Segunda Division playing for Elche. He then moved on to play in La Liga with Villareal and Espanyol before signing with Rubin Kazan prior to the 2013-14 season. He scored two goals for the club this season.
