Career Summary

Sunusi Ibrahim joined CF Montréal via transfer from Nigerian club 36 Lion FC on January 12, 2021.

The striker made his professional debut with Nasarawa United in January 2018 at the age of 16. In his first professional season, Ibrahim scored 18 goals in 22 games and finished top scorer of the Nigeria Professional Football League.

He made his CF Montréal debut in a 2-0 win over Inter Miami CF on May 12, 2021, and scored his first goal in a 2-1 win over the New York Red Bulls on August 14, 2021.

In 2021, Ibrahim helped CF Montréal win the Canadian Championship. In the quarter-finals of the 2022 Canadian Championship, Ibrahim scored his first hat trick in a stunning 3-0 victory over Forge FC at Stade Saputo.

On the international stage, Ibrahim has three caps for the Nigerian senior national team and has also represented his country at U23 level.
