PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

2013 (Crew): Sloan made his professional debut in a substitute appearance in the international friendly against Wigan Athletic (July 13), but did not make a regular-season appearance in 2013. He made the gameday 18 in the match against Houston (September 14) but did not play and missed matches against Chicago (September 21) and at FC Dallas (September 29) with a left knee bone bruise.

COLLEGE EXPERIENCE

At High Point University, Sloan was named first-team All-Big South for the fourth time in his career as a senior and registered six goals and a career-high 10 assists in 15 games, including 13 starts as a senior. He finished second on the team in points and second in the Big South in assists on top of his second Big South-All Academic Team honors. As a junior, Sloan was named first-team All-Big South for the third straight year and recorded four goals and a team-leading seven assists. His seven assists finished third in the Big South and also earned Big South-All Academic Team honors. In his second season with the Panthers, Sloan started all 21 games and again earned first-team All-Big South on top of earning ESPN Academic All-American honors. Sloan’s 24 points were good for fourth on the team and fifth in the Big South. Sloan played in all 18 games as a freshman and led the team in goals with six, earning him Big South Freshman of the Year honors and a spot on first-team All-Big South. In his first career start – a match against USC Upstate, Sloan scored the game-winning goal.

YOUTH EXPERIENCE

Sloan led Geneva High School to a 57-13-3 record during his career and finished with 58 goals and 40 assists. As a senior, he tied the school record for goals in a season with 29. In 2008, Sloan was named Chicago Sun Times and Chicago Tribune first-team All-State on top of being named to Western Sun All-Conference, Sun Conference MVP and Western Sun Academic All-Conference.
