Sebastian Jaime parts ways with Real Salt Lake, signs with Universidad Catolica
Days after bringing striker Yura Movsisyan back to Utah, Real Salt Lake announced on Thursday that they have parted ways with forward Sebastian Jaime.
Argentine forward Sebastian Jaime signed with Real Salt Lake on Aug. 8, 2014. The 27-year-old striker joins RSL after spending four seasons with Chilean Primera División club Unión Española. Jaime joined Unión Española in 2011 after a one year stint at second tier club La Serena. The La Plata, Arg., native made a total of 124 appearances for Unión Española, recording a total of 39 goals for the Santiago-based club. Jaime helped lead Los Rojos to the Supercopa de Chile and Primera División crowns in 2013.
Jaime began his professional career with Argentine club Defensores de Cambaceres in 2008, where he spent one year before joining second division team Argentinos Juniors. The striker spent two seasons with the prominent Buenos Aires club spanning 2009-10, before making his way to Chile.

Professional Career:
2014: Jaime came late in the season and looked to add a spark for RSL’s strike core. He made six appearances, starting three times and while he was able to add to the depth in the attack, he was unable to notch a point. All six of his appearances came over the final eight matches.
2011-14: Spent four seasons with Chilean Primera División club Unión Española, making a total of 124 appearances and recording 39 goals for the Santiago-based club...Helped lead Los Rojos to the Supercopa de Chile and Primera División crowns in 2013.
