Raul Meireles is a central midfielder who can be a great ball winner but also can make extraordinary passes to put his teammates through on goal. He won the 2011-12 UEFA Champions League with Chelsea.

PORTUGUESE NATIONAL TEAM

Meireles has registered over 70 caps with the Portuguese national team since making his debut in 2006 He scored against North Korea at the 2010 World Cup.

CLUB CAREER

After spending six seasons with Porto, Meireles joined Liverpool prior to the 2010-11 season but spent just one season with the club. He has spent the last two seasons with Fenerbahce, making 42 league appearanaces.
