Career Summary

Charlotte FC acquired Spanish forward Pep Biel on loan from Greek side Olympiacos FC on Aug. 15, 2024. Biel’s loan expired at the end of the 2024 season but was reacquired on loan until Aug. 1, 2025, on Jan. 13, 2025.

During Biel's first stint with The Crown in 2024, the Spainard featured in 11 competitions across the MLS Regular Season and MLS Cup Playoffs, where he scored twice and added three assists. He made his Club debut on Aug. 24 against New York Red Bulls and contributed a pair of assists in CLTFC’s 4-3 victory over Chicago Fire FC in the final stretch of the regular season.

Biel arrived in Charlotte from Super League Greece side Olympiacos FC where he scored 12 goals and added eight assists in 59 matches. He joined the Greek giants following a 60-goal contribution tenure at FC Copenhagen. His 32 goals and 28 assists for the Danish Superliga club included a Danish title, multiple runs to the knockout stages of European competition and the personal accolade of being named Copenhagen’s player of the season in 2021/22.

The Spainard began his career in the Balearic Islands with local club CE Constancia before making his way to Real Zaragoza, where he made 23 appearances in the Spanish second division with 10 goal contributions before moving to Denmark. Biel also had a brief loan spell in the Bundesliga where he played 11 matches with FC Augsburg in 2024.

2024 (Charlotte FC): MLS Regular Season – Featured in nine matches, eight of which being starts, totaling 621 minutes. Scored two goals and recorded three assists. Registered two assists in a 4-3 win over Chicago Fire FC on Oct. 2. Made his debut against New York Red Bulls on Aug. 24. MLS Cup Playoffs – Appeared and started in the first and third matches of the Club’s MLS Cup Playoff series against Orlando City SC.
