Paulinho is a strong box-to-box midfielder who received the Bronze Ball in the 2013 Confederations Cup as the tournament's third best player.

Paulinho scored two goals at the Confederations Cup in four appearances. He has registered a total of over 20 caps.

CLUB CAREER

Paulinho actually started his professional career by playing in Lithuania and Poland before returning to Brazil in 2008. He played for three Brazilian teams, including Corinthians, before returning to Europe to play for Tottenham. He has scored eight goals in all competitions for the club this season.
