Orestis Karnezis

Orestis Karnezis is Greece's No. 1 goalkeeper, having started all 12 of their World Cup qualifiers. After two successful seasons with Panathinaikos, he was signed by Granada before the 2013-14 season.

GREEK NATIONAL TEAM

Karnezis has registered more than 15 caps for the Greek national team. He kept a clean sheet in eight of the 12 qualifiers.

CLUB CAREER:

After spending four seasons as a backup, Karnezis took over as Panthinaikos' starting goalkeeper in the middle of the 2011-12 season. After just one and a half seasons he was signed by Granada. He spent the 2013-14 season mostly as a backup.
