Michael Carrick is a central midfielder who is known for his exceptional passing ability. He has been a critical piece to Manchester United's success since 2006.

ENGLISH NATIONAL TEAM

Despite his success with one of England's top teams, Carrick has appeared sporadically for his national team since 2001. He was a part of two World Cup teams (2006, 2010) but made only one appearance over the two tournaments.

CLUB CAREER

Carrick started his career with West Ham and Tottenham before joining Manchester United in 2006. Since then he has won the Premier League title five times (2006-07, 2007-08, 2008-09, 2010-11, 2012-13) and the Champions League once (2007-08).
