Career Summary

Stinson signed with the First Team on March 17, 2011. He was the captain of the Toronto FC Academy team before leaving to attend Wintrop University in South Carolina. At Winthrop, Stinson was named the Team MVP and earned All-Big South Conference Second Team honours. He was a member of the Clarkson Comets before joining the Academy in 2008. Stinson earned his first call to the Canadian National Team on November 3, 2011 but could not play during World Cup qualifiers due to injury. He has represented Canada at the U-20 level in the past.

2011: Appeared in 13 matches, starting in five, while adding one assist and logging 675 minutes. Stinson’s professional debut came on June 25 as a substitute against Real Salt Lake. He earned his first professional start on August 13 at home against Real Salt Lake. CONCACAF Champions League: Played in six matches, starting in four. International: Earned first call-up to Canadian National Team in November ahead of 2014 World Cup qualifying matches, but had to be replaced due to injury.
