Martín Silva was named the 2013 South American goalkeeper of the year. He currently plays for Vasco de Gama in Brazil.

URUGUAYAN NATIONAL TEAM

Silva made his international debut with Uruguay in 2009 and has appeared sporadically since.

CLUB CAREER

Silva played for Defensor Sporting from 2002 to 2011 winning one Uruguayan league title. He joined Vasco de Gama in December 2013.
