Maicon is a veteran right back who is known for his technical ability and elite attacking talent. He started in all five of Brazil's games at the 2010 World Cup.

BRAZILIAN NATIONAL TEAM

Maicon has registered over 65 caps with the Brazilian national team but has lost his starting spot over the last two years to Dani Alves. He scored a goal against North Korea at the 2010 World Cup.

CLUB CAREER

Maicon had his most successful seasons playing for Inter Milan, winning four Serie A titles and the 2009-10 Champions League. He made 28 appearances for Roma in Serie A this season.
