NIGERIAN NATIONAL TEAM

Omeruo has registered over 15 caps with the Super Eagles despite being just 20 years old. He made four appearances during World Cup qualifying.

CLUB CAREER

After coming of Standard Liege's youth academy, Omeruo was signed by Chelsea in 2012. He was loaned out to ADO Den Haag for one and a half seasons, making 36 appearances for the club. For 2013-14 he was loaned to Middlesbrough where he made 14 appearances in the Championship.
