Juanfran has been a part of Atletico Madrid's resurgence over the past couple of seasons from his right back position. He registered his first cap with the Spanish national team in May 2012.

SPANISH NATIONAL TEAM

Juanfran made his international debut in 2012 and appeared in two games during World Cup qualifying.

CLUB CAREER

A product of Real Madrid's youth academy, Juanfran spent four and a half seasons as Osasuna's starting right back. He signed with Atleti in January 2011 and has made 35 appearances for them in the past two seasons, helping them capture the 2013-14 La Liga title.
