José Manuel Rivera

Rivera, a 26-year-old Mexican forward joined Chivas USA in preseason of the 2013 season. Rivera made his debut in Mexico’s First Division with Jaguares de Chiapas during the Apertura 2007, making six starts in eight appearances. The Guadalajara native had brief stays with Mexico’s FC Atlas, Club Pachuca and Toluca.

Rivera’s career has also taken him to a number of European clubs, most recently in Finland with Second Division side Rovaniemen Palloseura (RoPs) in 2012. The forward has also played in Slovakia and Hungary for Spartak Trnava and Budapest Honved, respectively.
