MLS CAREER

2011

• Did not make any regular season appearances for the Rapids.
• Played in five matches for the Rapids Reserves, starting four. Earned a 2-3-0 record for the Reserves, with a goals against average of 1.20.
• Played in goal for the Rapids in the U.S. Open Cup play-in match against Chicago Fire (3/30).

2010

• Started one game his rookie campaign with a record of 1-0-0 with four saves with one shutout.
• Made MLS and Rapids regular season debut in 3-0 shutout victory vs. Houston (8/28).
• Made first appearance in a Rapids uniform starting in the team’s second U.S. Open Cup qualifier at NY (5/26) making one save. 

OTHER PROFESSIONAL HIGHLIGHTS

• Began his professional career with English Conference squad Grays Athletic FC in 2007 on a non-contract basis, but did not see any match action.
• Signed with English side Watford FC in October 2007 after a successful one-week trial. Did not appear in a match during the 07/08 season.
• Signed with English League One Southend United in July 2008 on a free transfer following his release from Watford. Appeared in three matches for Southend with two starts. Made his debut for Southend on September 20, 2008 in a 4-3 win over Crewe Alexander. 

COLLEGE

• Finished his collegiate career appearing in 34 games with 33 starts with a 19-9-4 record registering 136 saves with a 1.32 goals against average and nine shutouts.
• Ranks sixth all-time at SHU in shutouts and 10th in saves. 

PERSONAL

• Majored in liberal studies at Seton Hall.
• Ian and wife, Kelly, welcomed the birth of their first child, daughter Aynslee just days after Ian made his first MLS start.
• Three-year varsity player at Don Bosco Prep (NJ).
• Recorded 15 shutouts as a senior captain and helped team to state finals and was named First Team All-State, as well as one of the Top 51 players in New Jersey.
• Earned All-Bergen County and First Team All-NNJIL honors three times.
• Member of four conference and county championship teams.
