• Joined the Rapids midseason and quickly earned a spot in the starting lineup, starting all remaining eight games of the regular season.

NATIONAL TEAM

• Has earned 38 caps with the Honduras national team. Made his first international appearance in 2005.
• Has scored twice for his national team, the first in a friendly against Colombia on March 26, 2008, and the second against Canada in 2010 World Cup qualifying on October 11, 2008.
• Played for Honduras in the 2010 World Cup and the 2008 Olympics in Beijing.

OTHER PROFESSIONAL HIGHLIGHTS

• Made his professional debut with Club Deportivo Olimpia of Tegucigalpa, Honduras, in the Liga Nacional de Honduras in 2001 as a 16-year-old, where he played in 143 matches through 2009, scoring six goals.
• Helped the team to seven championships, and scored Olimpia’s 2,000th league goal of all time on September 30, 2007.
• Was signed by English Premier League side Wigan Athletic in the summer of 2009. He made 49 appearances for the club before joining the Rapids in 2012.
