PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

2014 (Seattle): Pineda made 24 starts on 28 appearances in Seattle’s midfield during the regular season. He scored three goals, all of which were on penalty kicks. Pineda ranked fourth on the club with seven assists—four of the assists ended up being game-winners, which tied-second most on the team. He made his MLS debut against Toronto FC (March 15). In the 82nd minute of a Cascadia clash with Vancouver (May 24), Pineda scored his first club goal to equalize the eventual score at 2-2. In the postseason, Pineda started all three matches he appeared in. He also made two starts on three appearances in the U.S. Open Cup, recording one assist. He was named to the MLS Team of the Week in Week 16.

2012-2013 (Queretaro): Pineda scored once in 27 appearances for Queretaro. He also made five appearances in Copa MX.

2011-2012 (Puebla): Pineda joined Puebla and made 31 appearances with one goal and four assists.

2010-2011 (Cruz Azul): Pineda made 29 appearances for Cruz Azul in Liga MX and played in six matches in the CONCACAF Champions League, scoring one goal.

2009-2010 (San Luis): He transferred to San Luis for the Clausura campaign, scoring one goal in 14 appearances.

He played in six friendlies from 2006-08, and made three appearances in 2007 Copa America. In addition, he played in two matches in World Cup Qualifying in 2008-09.
