Francisco Javier Rodríguez or Maza is a physical centerback who has been one of the foundations for El Tri since making his debut in 2004.

MEXICAN NATIONAL TEAM

Maza has registered over 90 caps for the Mexican National Team and played in all four matches in the 2010 World Cup after appearing just once in the 2006 Tournament.

CLUB CAREER

Playing for Chivas de Guadalajara, Maza became a club legend over six years. In 2008 he transferred to PSV Eindhoven in the Netherlands where he spent three successful seasons. After a stint with Stuttgart in Germany, Maza returned to Mexico in 2012 with Club América where he has been a critical piece in the club's recent success.
