2014: Made MLS regular-season debut, and only league appearance, on September 20 against Seattle as a second-half substitute… Playoffs: Did not appear… Champions League: Came on as a second-half substitute for Lloyd Sam on August 26 against C.D. Stevenson was New York’s 34th overall pick at the 2014 SuperDraft. He earned a contract, signing for the team on March 7, 2014. During the 2013 season at the University of Akron, Stevenson played in 22 games, making 21 starts. He finished the season with five goals and five assists. He was an All-Great Lakes Region Third Team honoree and also earned All-MAC First Team honors. In 2012, he was named to the All-MAC Second Team after starting all 22 matches for Akron. Stevenson enjoyed a breakout season, scoring seven goals, recording five assists, and finishing third on the team in points with 19. The Columbus, OH native featured in three preseason matches for the Red Bulls.
