Elderson Echiejile

CURRENT CLUB: AS Monaco (France)

Elderson Echiejile signed a four and a half year contract with Monaco in January 2014 after making over 70 appearances with Portuguese club Braga. The left back scored against Tahiti at the 2013 Confederations Cup.

NIGERIAN NATIONAL TEAM

Elderson made six appearances for Nigeria during World Cup qualifying, playing every minute in all six of those games. He made two substitute appearances for the Super Eagles at the 2010 World Cup.

CLUB CAREER

Before playing for Braga, Elderson started his career in Nigeria and Rennes in France. After joining Monaco he made just three appearances in Ligue 1 for the rest of the season.
