Egidio Arévalo Ríos

Egidio Arévalo Ríos is a strong defensive midfielder who spent the three months with the Chicago Fire at the end of 2013. Rios carved out quite the career in Liga MX over the last decade plus, so much so that he attained Mexican citizenship. 

URUGUAYAN NATIONAL TEAM

Rios has been a regular starter for Uruguay since 2010, registered a total of over 75 caps. He appeared in 17 of Uruguay's 18 World Cup qualifiers during this cycle. He was captain for the 2012 Olympic squad as one of the designated above-age players. 

CLUB CAREER

Rios has played for 13 different teams throughout his club career. He won the 2009-10 Uruguayan title with Penarol.
