Overview
A 12-year veteran of the Mexican First Division, forward Eduardo Lillingston signed with Chivas USA on March 9, 2009, after training with the team throughout the preseason. A veteran of Mexican First Division clubs including Toluca, Santos and most recently Tecos UAG, Lillingston made his debut for the Red-and-White in the first game of the 2009 season.
Pro Experience
Lillingston made his Mexican First Division debut on Sept. 14, 1996 with Toluca, which he represented from 1996-2000, save a half-year spells at Santos (Verano 1999) and Atlas (Verano 2000). Since 2001, Lillingston has represented Santos Laguna (2001-2003) and Tecos UAG (2003-2008). In total, during his 12-year professional career, Lillingston has appeared in 258 Mexican First Division matches, (118 starts), accumulating 11,198 minutes and recording 57 goals. He was a member of Toluca's Verano 1998 and Invierno 2000 championship sides, and played and scored in Tecos' Final appearance versus Club América (Clausura 2005).
International
Lillingston was a member of the Mexican Under-20 National Team for the 1997 FIFA World Youth Championship in Malaysia, where he led Mexico with three goals in four games at the tournament.
