Dawid Bugaj

Dawid Bugaj joined CF Montréal via transfer from Italian club S.P.A.L in July 2024.

Born in Sosnowiec, Poland, he moved to Norway at the age of three. He joined the academy of Norwegian club Molde FK and rose through the ranks to join the reserve team in 2019.

After a trial at German club Borussia Dortmund, Bugaj joined S.P.A.L on a permanent basis in September 2020.

In 2023, Bugaj was loaned to Polish second division club Lechia Gdansk, where he helped the team win the I liga championship, giving them automatic promotion to the top flight.

The defender made his debut in a Montreal uniform on July 26 in a Leagues Cup match against Orlando City.

Bugaj holds dual Polish and Norwegian nationality, but represents Poland internationally. He has represented Poland at U15, U16, U18 and U19 levels.
