Dante is a veteran centerback whose performances with Bayern Munich allowed him to make his international debut in 2013 at the age of 29.

Dante came on a substitute twice during the 2013 Confederations Cup.

CLUB CAREER

Dante bounced around at the club level in Brazil, France, and Belgium before signing with Borussia Monchengladbach in December 2008. There he blossomed and three and a half seasons later he was signed by Bayern. He has made 29 Bundesliga appearances in each of the last two seasons.
