• Begins new chapter in professional career coming to MLS after 10+ years of experience abroad.
• Has seven caps with the Republic of Ireland National Team.
• Came o n trial with the Rapids during the 2011 preseason and appeared in three games scoring the game-winner in match against LA Galaxy.

OTHER PROFESSIONAL HIGHLIGHTS

• Began his professional career with hometown side Leeds United in 2001 after being in the club’s youth system.
• Sent loans spells with Rushden & Diamonds for the 2001/02 season playing in six matches and Hull City in November 2001 which included only one appearance.
• Played for E nglish League Two club Chesterfield from 2002-07, playing in 102 league games and scoring 14 goals. Also appeared in League Cup and FA Cup matches.
• Scored two g oals in 15 games with Wigan Athletic during the 2006/07 and 07/08 seasons. Also played in League Cup games. 
• Signed with English Football League Championship side Hull City in August 2007 becoming the club’s first-ever £1million signing.
• Scored the g ame winner in Hull City’s first-ever top flight game against Fulham in August 2008.
• Was loaned t o Middlesbrough and appeared as a sub once in 2009/10.
• Appeared in 58 league matches for Hull City from 2007-11 and scored 12 goals for the Tigers. Also played in League Cup and FA Cup matches.

• Caleb Folan has seven caps with the Republic of Ireland National Team.

• Play in World Cup Qualifiers against Italy (4/1), vs. Bulgaria (6/6) and vs. Cyprus (9/5).
• Appeared in friendlies vs. Australia (8/12) and against South Africa (9/8).

2008

• Received his first call-up for the senior squad making his debut in a World Cup Qualifier against Cyprus (10/15).
• Appeared in friendly vs. Poland (11/19).
