Bruno Alves is a towering centerback who is a constant threat on set pieces. The veteran scored four goals during World Cup qualifying and he currently plays for Fenerbahçe at the club level.

PORTUGUESE NATIONAL TEAM

Bruno Alves started all four games for Portugal at the 2010 World Cup and all five of their games at the 2012 Euros.

CLUB CAREER

After spending much of his career with Porto, winning four Primeira Liga titles, Alves joined Zenit Saint Petersburg in 2010. He helped the club win two Russian Premier League titles before joining Fenerbahce.
